Our Mission

The For Isla Foundation was set up in May 2024 to provide relief and support to babies and young children suffering from Ultra-Rare heart conditions.

Since losing Isla, we've received incredible support and care from Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) especially the Zayed Center for Research into Rare Diseases in Children.

As well as helping us navigate Isla's condition, the team continue to provide monitoring and support for our newest arrival - Leo.

Isla's Ray of Sunshine

Through this programme, we provide one-off wishes (Rays of Sunshine) to babies and young children who are being treated for Ultra-Rare paediatric cardiomyopathy diseases at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We know personally how meaningful the smallest of gestures can be and we aim to bring a little light to those that need it.

If you would like to find out more or nominate a baby/young child please contact us.

Working with GOSH

We can never thank the GOSH team enough but through the provision of both medical and non-medical equipment, we hope to continue to improve the patient experience at the Zayed Centre for Research into Rare Diseases in Children.
